Pebble Dashing
Pebbledashing - a mixture of sand, cement and a secret additive, applied in two coats with a pebble or aggregate finish applied to the second coat, Pebble-Dashing is also mixed with an integral waterproof additive. When used with a lime-stone aggregate it becomes the most durable coating that we offer. It is very strong and maintenance free. There are many coloured stones to choose from, some can be mixed together. This type of wall coating does not require painting, although, it can be painted in years to come, when it becomes aged.
Pebbledashing has a
reputation
of being rather ugly. This
general consensus has possible derived from the ubiquitous pebble dashed
council house - dashing does look dreary after 50 years, and what
doesn't. It's true that pebbledash is the cheapest way to finish the
exterior of a property but this does not mean that it is the worst or
the ugliest. Modern pebbledashing utilizes tailor-made aggregates that
offer a wide range of colours and textures. Nowadays, pebble dashed
properties can look beautiful and modern, with a durability that is
second to nothing.
Nobody takes greater pride in their work, or
produces a better quality finish - Guaranteed!
